Your Rocket Flying with TARS:

Built-in Hardware
Accelerometer & gyroscope
Our high-precision accelerometer and gyroscope continuously measure changes in velocity and orientation, enabling real-time detection of key flight events such as launch, burnout, and apogee.
Magnetometer
A 3-axis magnetometer tracks the Earth’s magnetic field to provide orientation data and heading reference. When combined with other sensor inputs, it enables advanced navigation features, tilt correction, and situational awareness throughout the flight.
Barometer
The onboard barometric sensor provides accurate altitude readings by measuring atmospheric pressure throughout the flight. With high sampling rates and resolution, it ensures precise apogee detection and supports dual-deploy recovery systems.

Fits Everywhere
Designed to fit 1.5+ ID rockets.
Resist Everything
Up to 24 g's of acceleration
Op. Voltage
5 V - 12 V (7.4V / 9V recommended)
Other Features
I2C/UART data output
The flight computer supports I2C and UART data output, enabling seamless integration with external sensors and telemetry systems. For example, I2C allows multiple sensors (e.g., barometer, accelerometer, GPS) to share data on the same bus, while UART enables real-time telemetry transmission to a ground station for continuous data monitoring during flight.
Buzzer
The built-in buzzer delivers clear, audible feedback throughout the flight. From system checks to deployment confirmations, the buzzer ensures control and awareness of the rocket’s critical status during the mission.
Dual continuity verification
Enhanced Safety – Monitor both the drogue and main recovery systems, ensuring that both circuits are fully functional before launch. This system increases reliability and provides peace of mind, reducing the risk of deployment failure during flight.
